There are already many translations of the Bible in Korean. But in order to test our software and determine the quality of its translations, we worked with a team of Korean speakers to develop a Korean lexicon and grammar.  We then produced translations of  several biblical books and community development articles. Then we performed experiments to determine the quality of the translations, and found that the computer generated translations increased the productivity of experienced mother-tongue translators by approximately 460%.  Additionally, the edited computer drafts were statistically equal in quality with a professionally translated and published version of the Bible intended for Korean junior high students.
