Botolan Sambal Village (small)

Botolan Sambal is spoken by approximately 35,000 people in the northern part of the Philippines.  The Botolan Sambal New Testament was completed in 1982 by two missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators.  Tod Allman met Eduardo in 2017, and asked him if he had a copy of the New Testament.  Eduardo said, "No, I never had a copy.  My church had a copy, but we lost it about 15 years ago."  Wycliffe has many copies of the Botolan Sambal New Testament in a warehouse in Manila, so Tod bought a dozen copies and gave them to Eduardo and his church members.  Eduardo and Tod are now working together to translate several Old Testament books into Botolan Sambal.
